Carolyn Patterson is an educational therapist dedicated to helping students improve their academic achievement, working with students with:
- Learning disabilities
- Organizational challenges
- Other special education needs
Mrs. Patterson has worked with children in elementary, middle school, and high school. She has provided educational therapy to children at many public and private schools in Pasadena, Altadena, and other areas of the San Gabriel Valley.
Mrs. Patterson worked as a teacher and educational specialist in public schools from 2004 through 2010, working with students in grades 2 through 8, and with private high school students. Since 2015, she is the Learning Specialist at St. Francis High School, a private Catholic boys’ high school.
In Pasadena Unified School District, Mrs. Patterson worked as an inclusion specialist and as a Special Day Class teacher for students with learning disabilities and autism in grades 4 through 6.
At South Pasadena Middle School, Mrs. Patterson worked with middle school students, also with learning disabilities and autism, helping them to achieve grade-level work in science, math, and language arts.
